Description
Mission Defense Team Network Characterization Course Performance Work Statement SOURCES SOUGHT FOR AIR FORCE SPACE COMMAND (AFSPC) MISSION DEFENSE TEAM NETWORK CHARACTERIZATION COURSE (NCC) SUPPORT SERVICES THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The 21 st Contracting Squadron, Peterson Air Force Base, CO is requesting capability statements to identify sources to provide Mission Defense Team Network Characterization Course (NCC) support services. Potential offerors shall be capable of providing all personnel, labor, courseware, equipment, supplies, and incidentals necessary for Network Characterization Course services to the US Air Force. The Network Characterization Course is a pre-requisite for later, more advanced training for Mission Defense Team (MDT) operators within the USAF Communications Squadron-Next (CS-N) cyberspace operations transformation initiative. The course is focused on creating a Network Characterization Analyst with the ability to evaluate and analyze networks focused on potential indicators of compromise through characterization of the network. The objective of this course is to develop a new generation of network aware analysts who are positioned to identify indicators of compromise that can lead to collaboration with operational hunting units, support forensic investigations, and result in a more resilient and defended network. This objective supports the strategic goal of transforming the Air Force's Defensive Cyberspace Operations workforce from legacy enterprise service delivery towards active cyberspace defense of cyberspace terrain that enables the core Air Force missions.
