- Reference of Regulations and Standards Draft Performance Work Statement THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes, it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, ICE is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals or capability statements. Vendors are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be posted to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Advance Planning Forecast System (APFS) or the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizopps) website. It is the responsibility of potential vendors to monitor APFS or Fedbizopps for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This RFI is being issued to gain an understanding of interested qualified contractors who are capable of providing an existing, renovated or newly constructed facility to possibly house and care for detainees. See the attached Draft Performance Work Statement(PWS) for specifications. Prospective contractors who are qualified to provide these services are requested to submit the following information for ICE's review: • Capability statement to include contractor's name, address, POC information (name, title, telephone number, email address, etc.); • Brief presentation that includes expertise in detention services. Responses and/or Questions ICE/OAQ is soliciting feedback on the attached Draft PWS. Requested information shall be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word for Office 2010 and/or Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 compatible formats. ICE/OAQ will not provide responses to any comments or questions submitted. Responses are due before April 29, 2016, at 3:00 pm EST. The total response package shall not exceed 25 pages. Responses shall be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer, Trina Fisher at Trina.Fisher@ice.dhs.gov. All submissions shall include in the subject line "South Texas Detention Facility - (Company's Name)". Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Late submissions will not be considered.
