- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice. Please note that this is not a request for proposal (RFP) or bids, and the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. No solicitation document is available and no other information pertaining to project scope, timeline, etc. is available at this time. Any request for assistance with submission or other procedural matters shall be submitted via email only. Additional information about this project will be issued on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov once available. Yellowstone National Park is seeking hay vendors to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide certified weed free round bales and small squares for National Park Service stock horses. Quantities for delivery locations unknown at this time. Estimated quantity of 110 tons small square bales and 250 tons of large round bales needed for this summer. The National Park Service may require the producer to have the hay quality tested. Responses must be received by 4:00 PM MT on April 25, 2016 via email to the Contract Specialist at Mary_Woodin@nps.gov, PLEASE REFERENCE SOURCES SOUGHT-YELL HORSE HAY BPA - IN THE SUBJECT LINE or cover sheet. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission or information gathered as a result of this Sources Sought notice. Interested firms shall be required to respond to additional announcements separately from this announcement without further notice from the Government when posted to the FBO website at http://www.fbo.gov. The formal solicitation will be issued at a later date by a separate announcement on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) and FedConnect website. The FBO and FedConnect websites are the official sites from which to obtain these documents.
