- BAA 2016-N-17798 Solicitation Package The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), Office of Noncommunicable Diseases, Injury and Environmental Health (ONDIEH), issues this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Number 2016-N-17798 under the provisions of FAR 35.016 and FAR 6.102(d)(2) which provides for the competitive selection of research proposals. This is not FAR Part 15 Procurement. Contracts that are awarded based on responses to this BAA are as a result of full and open competition and therefore in full compliance with the provisions of PL 98-369, "The Competition in Contracting Act of 1984." The BAA can be found attached to this synopsis. No other solicitation will be issued. Only the information provided in this notice is available. Requests for other solicitations shall be disregarded. ELIGIBILITY: Educational Institutions, for-profit organizations, non-profit organizations, state and local governments, and the private industry. The NAICS code for this BAA is 541720, Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities, with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government anticipates making multiple awards as a result of this BAA. This BAA is open and in effect from the date of release April 15, 2016 through May 25, 2016. THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE CALL FOR WHITE PAPERS for the program entitled, "Understanding the Risks of Tackling in Youth Football." White papers must be received by May 25, 2016 in order to be considered for further evaluation. White papers shall be submitted electronically to the CDC BAA Contracting Officer, Ms. Betty Vannoy at bbv9@cdc.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted.
