- Description
- The Black Hills National Forest intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed price contract which entails a base yr. and two option years. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to maintain 177+ miles of selected native and aggregate surface roads on the Bearlodge Ranger District in the Black Hills of Wyoming. This contract will consist of one (1) base year of 2016 and two (2) option years of 2017 and 2018. Maintenance includes: slide and slump repair, ditch and drainage structure cleaning surface blading (blading will be to an appropriate depth to remove washboards), cattleguard cleaning (including grate removal and replacement to access and remove trapped sediment within the cattleguard), and provide road maintenance signing for public safety in compliance with these specifications and the latest version of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). There are no Government furnished supplies or materials. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237310 with a size standard of $36.5 million. Project is a total Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation AG-67T0-S-16-0025 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps and available for downloading on or about May 01, 2016. Contractors may register at the System for Award Management (SAM) internet site http://www.sam.gov or by contacting the SAM helpdesk at 1-866-606-8220. The plans and specifications will be available only from the FedBizOpps website on-line at http://fbo.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted and the Government will not issue paper copies.
