- Provisions and Clauses This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quote for Qty (1) Elemental Live 180 AE Series Encoder, to include onsite installation. The solicitation number for this procurement is NNK16581003Q. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS code 334310is 750 employees. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. Offers for the services described above are due by 2:00 PM ET on April 25, 2016 to NASA KSC and must include: 1. Solicitation number 2. FOB destination to KSC 3. Proposed schedule, discount/payment terms 4. Taxpayer identification number (TIN) 5. Identification of any special commercial terms, and 6. Signed by an authorized company representative 7. DUNS Number and CAGE Code Delivery no later than 05/25/2016. Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://server-mpo.arc.na sa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tml The FAR and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS) provisions and clauses that apply to this acquisition are attached. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (NOV 2015) is applicable to this acquisition. Offerors are required to return their completed representations and certifications with their proposal as identified in FAR 52.212-3. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for the release of solicitation amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this combination synopsis/solicitation and amendments (if any). Please see the attached provisions and clauses.
