- Solicitation Documents : The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote for Services requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 20th, 2016. Description : This contract is for the loading and delivering of 12,800 cubic yards of government furnished crushed aggregate for the use by the government in road maintenance. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform this project. Government furnished aggregate (12,800 cubic yards) is available at the Yellow Creek pit, as shown on the Vicinity Map. The contractor shall provide a loader and will be responsible for loading trucks. The contractor shall provide a water truck and operator for dust abatement of the haul route. Aggregate shall be delivered to the project in bottom dump trucks only. Contractor shall provide a minimum of 8 trucks for delivery and hauling of material. Aggregate shall be placed in windrows for the full length of the project as directed by the Contracting Officer. Government operated equipment will mix, spread, compact and grade the windrowed Location: The Project is located approximately 20 miles south/southwest of Chester, California. From Chester travel 1 mile west on State Highway 36 to State Highway 89. Travel 4 miles south to Humboldt Road (Plumas Co. 307). Travel approximately 13 miles south/west to intersection with NFSR 27N65. Turn right on NFSR 27N65. Travel approximately 1 mile, government provided stockpile is located on the right side of the road. The legal description for the location of the Yellow Creek pit is Section 2, Township 26 North, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Base. The Yellow Creek water source is located on the south side of 27N65. The legal description for the location of the Yellow Creek water source is Section 34, Township 27 North, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Base. The L-T Creek water source is located on the west side of Rd No. 26N31. The legal description of the L-T Creek water source is Section 19, Township 26 North, Range 6 East. Set-Aside : This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation.
