The Signal Data Processer (SDP) provides processing (receiver & analog/digital conversion, beam forming, pulse compression, clutter filtering, and Doppler processing) data of the Radar system with respect to the Versa Module Europa (VME) Backplane in the AN/MPQ-64A3 Sentinel Radar. It is designed to provide increased processing power, higher I/O bandwidth, and enhancements to the radar's Electronic Protect (EP) capability. For this obsolescence upgrade, the Army will need to purchase 199 each SDP Installation Kits and 2 Initial Spare kits for the United States Government. The contractor shall conduct a Depot level installation of the SDP Kit and integrate them into each A3 radar. The SDP Kit will consist of the following parts: ASSEMBLY, Signal Processer (New Part Number (P/N, 13717284) Analog/Digital Converter (New P/N 13717285) Dual SMR interface module (New P/N, 13717286) Exciter & Dual-Rcvr Data and Clock Cables (New P/N, 13717287) Low Noise Amplifier Auxiliary (New P/N, 13717288) Once modified with the SDP Kit the AN/MPQ-64A3 Antenna Transceiver Group (ATG) shall meet the system performance requirements allocated to the ATG from the Sentinel Performance Specification Drawings. The contractor shall modify all necessary documents and drawings and develop necessary logistics products. Interested sources shall provide a capability statement to the US Army Contracting Command, ATTN: CCAM-SM-T/Dewayne Kendricks, Building 5250, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 or via email to dewayne.kendricks.civ@mail.mil.
