- Solicitation Documents : The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote for Services requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 24, 2016. Description : This contract is for the supply and delivery of 12,000 tons of crushed aggregate for the use by the government in road maintenance. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform this project. Location: The Project is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Chester California. From Chester travel 1 mile west on State Highway 36 to State Highway 89. Travel south on State Highway 89 to Humbug Road, County Road 307 (Forest Road 27N11). Travel south and west on 307 (27N11) for approximately 9.5 miles to the intersection with NFS road 27N37. Project begins at intersection of County road 307 and NFS road 27N37. The legal description for the project beginning is Section 2, Township 26 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base. The Water Creek water source is located off of NFS road 26N08, T26N, R6E, Sec. 2 The Humbug Creek water source is located off of NFS road 26N26, T26N, R7E, Sec. 6 The Rock Creek water source is located off of NFS road 26N35, T26N, R6E, Sec. 7 Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Response Location : Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation.
