Description
This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 541519 An Information Technology Value Added Reseller (size standard of 150 employees). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Cincinnati VA Medical Center is seeking sources that can provide: Stand-alone/desktop Windows based, Microsoft certified, hotel/hospitality management software for a 16 until location. This capability would also include installation and configuration and annual maintenance service for the Cincinnati VA Medical Center (3200 Vine Street Cincinnati, OH 45220). Desired features include: Simplified process to enter reservations (waitlist) and enter patient/guest information Simplified check in process Ability to list expected check out date upon reservation (can be changed at any time) Guest Ledger Banned Patients/families Housekeeping and Maintenance Room View: Designed per layout for each floor and color coded room status; Vacant, Occupied, Dirty, etc. Tables, charts should be color coded Guest and Room Reports Ability to print out daily house roster for afterhours staff Monthly and Yearly Reporting Information: Occupancy Rate # Of Unoccupied days due to Construction, maintenance, or Refurbish # of families accommodated # Of Active Duty Service Members # of New families accommodated # of New Individuals Cumulative # of families accommodated # of families checking out Average Length of Stay # of families on waiting list during the month Please indicate if the software would to be installed on 3 VA Computers and possible 1 Windows or Apple tablet Response to this notice should include a capability statement, and three (3) customer references to which you have provided similar services for. Responses should also include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is this product or service available under a federal supply schedule (GSA)? If yes, please provide the contract number. (2) Do you manufacture or directly provide these services? If teaming please provide a copy of your teaming agreement. If subcontracting please include the name of the subcontractor. (3) Is your business large or small? (4) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (5) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. (6) Is your firm a certified hub zone firm? (7) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (8) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or veteran owned small business? (9) Is your firm registered on the Central Contractor Registration website? Responses to this notice shall be emailed to Michael Groneman at Michael.groneman@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 PM on April 22nd, 2016. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
