- This solicitation is for a one year Indefinite delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) acquisiiton of the following: NSN Charger Battery not to exceed 5 yearss or $150,000, whichever comes first. This solicitation will be available for download on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil//RFP// on or about 04/18/2016; however ** DIBBS quotations are not acceptable for this solicitation. ** Quotes must be submitted on hard copy of the RFQ must be scanned or email to merlinda.truitt-johnson@dla.mil. NOTE: Though this is an RFQ, the solicitation can only be found by searching the RFQ/IFB Database in DIBBS. The propose contract is 100% set aside for small business concern. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be consider. All offer shall in the English language and in US Dollars. All interested supplier may submit an offer. The total duration shall exceed 1 year. This acquisition is for supplies for which the government does not possess complete, unrestricted technically; therefore, the government intend to solicite and contract with only approve sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Approve source are John W Hock Company DBA Hock John Cage Code (6T854). Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12. Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitationfor described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specificationsand Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DoDSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the internet at https://assist.daps.mil/ Users may search for documents using the ASSIST Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DoDSSP using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard, after estalishing a DODSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures or by phoning the DoDSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN 442-2179). Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Descriptions, etc, are not stocked at the DoDSSP.
