- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD intends to negotiate a single-source contract with Radiation Safety and Control Services, Inc. (RSCS) of Stratham, New Hampshire for an active Battlefield Dosimeter (BD) that detects radiological events such as prompt gamma and neutron radiation exposure and low gamma and neutron exposure. This BD will replace the current IM-270/PD. NSWCCD is negotiating a single-source contract because only RSCS is capable of meeting the Navy requirements. The anticipated award is for a maximum procurement of 106,000 BD units (including cases). The period of performance for this contract will be four-years.
