- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring price, past performance, relevant experience and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 19, 2016. Description: The intent of this contract is to furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to replace, install and connect two 7,750 gallon non-potable water tanks adjacent to Forest Road M4. Major items of work include but are not limited to: Removing existing piping, removing existing redwood water tank, clearing channel, cleaning 32" CMP, trenching, installing new piping,valves and valve boxes,installing steel gravel foundation ring(s), installing water tanks, outsloping lower spur road and placing and compacting 24 cubic yards of base rock on lower spur road. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: The water tanks will be installed on the Mendocino National Forest, Grindstone Ranger District at a location referred to as Ice House. Ice House is located approximately 15 miles Southwest of Paskenta CA. From Paskenta CA, turn left on County Road 55, Round Valley Road. Travel on Round Valley Road for approximately 15 miles, Ice House is on the left; Coordinates for Ice House are 39°48'51.04"N 122°41"46.37"W. Price Range: $25,000 - $100,000 Contract Time: 30 Calendar Days Estimated Start Date: May 15, 2016 Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for HUBZone Small Business. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to quote submission.
