- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of a16 feet wide x 40 feet long prefabricated building, a commercial item, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87-1 (effective 3/16/2016). It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is P16PS01020, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) code is 423310 and the size standard is 150 employees or less. The acquisition is a 100% total small business set-aside, and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. ATTACHMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION: All attachments can be accessed via the link to FedConnect, or by going directly to the FedConnect website at https://www.fedconnect.net. Once at the FedConnect home page, click "Search Public Opportunities Only." Next screen, under Search Criteria, change the drop-down menu selection to read "Reference Number," then type in solicitation number P16PS01020 and click "search." Next screen, click the underlined text that is the title of the solicitation, shown as "(PORE) 16 feet wide x 40 feet long Prefabricated Building." Next screen is the overview screen. On the right-hand side, is the list of documents posted, showing the SF-1449 solicitation form and all attachments. The attachments must be opened individually, and can be downloaded and saved or printed. Besides the SF-1449 solicitation form, there is one attachment: Attachment no. 1 (this combined synopsis/solicitation). REQUIREMENT: Prefabricated building shall meet or be equal to the salient characteristics of the specifications required below: -Wall framing 2"x 4" spaced 16" on center double top plates on all walls. -Interior wall height to be minimum of 7'feet 6"inches preferred 8" foot wall height. -Full house wrap or 15 pound felt between wall studs and siding. -T1-11 8 IN OC Siding or similar in design and quality. -4" trim on all exterior wall corners, windows, and door openings. -Floor joist system to be 2"x8" treated lumber on 19" center or equivalent system in strength and treatment. -Shed to be set/anchored on 4"x4" (minimum) treated wood beams that span the length of the shed to keep building of the ground. Minimum of four beams equally spaced across the floor. -Floor decking ¾" heavy-duty tongue and groove pressure treated, or equivalent system in strength and treatment. -Peeked roof 2"x 4" rafters and trusses joined with steel seam plates, 8" eaves overhang. - ½" roof decking, 15 pound felt roof underlayment Metal drip edge on entire roof perimeter, and Architectural random tab black composition roof shingles with limited lifetime warranty. -Two dual pane 4' x 3' sliding vinyl white finish windows one each centered on gable end wall. Height off of floor for windows to be 40"+ and window to be operational. -One commercial grade fiberglass entry door with half-light, out-swing, placed in the center of one of the bearing wall. -Two 4' wide x 3' tall dual pane windows, one window on each side of the entry doors, 4' from the wall corner. -Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation permits, materials, and incidentals necessary for installation of the 16 feet wide x 40 feet long prefabricated building. Building shall be installed so the entry faces north. QUOTES ARE DUE AT 3:30PM PACIFIC TIME (PT) ON FRIDAY, APRIL 29, 2016.
