- The FAA is seeking vendors capable of repairing Vitacom Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPA's) and Frequency Converters for older equipment that has reached end of life cycle. Services include initial troubleshooting, repair, hardware testing, alignment, and final tests including M & C functions of the equipment. All work should be performed using industry best practices. The FAA SSPA's and frequency converters are used in the C band for telecommunication services. If qualified and interested, please email Mike Austin at mike.austin@faa.gov to receive a Request for Quote (RFQ). Inquiries should be received by 3PM Pacific Time on Wednesday April 20, 2016. M&C function access to the equipment is required, so please do not reply if you don't have this capability.
