Description

UPDATE 4/15/2016: Amendment 1 to the solicitation is now available for download from this website, see the hyperlink below titled, "Amend 1 - DTFANM-16-R-00014 ATCT FLS Redding & Santa Rosa". The main purpose of this amendment is to change the offers due-date. UPDATE 3/23/2016: The project Request for Offers (RFO) is now available for download from this website, see the hyperlink below titled, "RFO - DTFANM-16-R-00014 ATCT FLS Redding & Santa Rosa". The RFO contains terms and conditions for the pending contract as well as complete requirements for submitting an offer. UPDATE 3/08/2016: Firm details for the site visits are now available and posted just below. The posting also includes the FAA's protocol for contractor questions. Within the next few days the project Request for Offers document will also be posted to this website, which will include complete terms & conditions for the pending contract and instructions on how to submit an offer. B005. Solicitation Questions: All contractors proposing this project desiring an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Gary Yount at gary.yount@faa.gov. Alternately, you may fax your written questions to (425) 227-1055. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The requestor shall provide a company name, point-of-contact name, address and telephone number; as well as a return e-mail address or FAX number. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to make clarifications, interpretations, or changes to this solicitation. QUESTIONS ARE DUE by: April 6, 2016 at 5:00 PM PACIFIC Time. B006. Site Visit. There are OPTIONAL site visits for both projects. a. REDDING project site: March 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM Local Time. Meeting point: 6841 Airway Avenue, Redding, CA 96002. b. SANTA ROSA project site: March 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM Local Time. Meeting point: 2245 Airport Blvd. Santa Rosa, California 95403. c. The FAA facility escort has been instructed not to answer any questions about the project during the site visit, please do not ask them any. All questions from the site visit must be submitted in writing according to the RFO �s instructions in Section B, Clause B005 Solicitation Questions (above). The FAA assumes no responsibility for any conclusions or interpretations made by the contractor based on the information received by any means other than in writing from the Contracting Officer. The FAA does not assume responsibility for any understanding reached or representation made concerning conditions, which can affect the work, by any of its officers or agents before the execution of this contract, unless that understanding or representation is expressly stated in the contract. d. To attend the site visit, advance notice by e-mail is required by March 28, 2016, at 10:00 AM PACIFIC Time to the FAA point of contact listed just below.
