- Request for quote for Lighting Upgrades Attached is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Lighting Upgrades at John T. Myers Locks and Dam, 16501 Raben Road, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620. The work under this request for quote is 100% set aside for small business award. Large businesses are not eligible for award. If you wish to make a site visit in order to have a better understanding of locations, conditions, and potential complexities of the location, please coordinate with the POC: Dallas Jackson, Lockmaster David Brown, Maintenance Leader John T. Myers Locks and Dam 16501 Raben Rd Mt. Vernon, IN 47620 812-838-6191 The attached construction wage rates will be required and should be considered with your quote. All proposed contractors are highly encouraged to review FAR Clause 52.232-33 Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer - System for Award Management, which indicates "All payments by the Government under this contract shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT)." Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http://www.SAM.gov. The process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after submission. Contractors will need to obtain a DUNS number for processing their registration. If you do not already have a DUNS number, one can be obtained from Dun and Bradstreet by calling 1-800-333-0505.
