- FA6675-16-R-0001 Concrete Pads Hangar Solicitation 1643 - DDPM 150001 - SOW - Concrete Fire Lane 4 Mar 16 DOL Wage Determination B1643 - Drawing - Concrete - Zone 2 - CADD B1643 - Drawing - Concrete - Zone 1 - CADD This is the solicitation for the construction of a fire lane surrounding building 1643 for emergency vehicle access. Approximately 16,600 square feet (SF) of area located on the east and north sides of the building, in two separate zones, will need to be demolished/prepped and replaced with concrete. These concrete slabs will create an adequate fire lane for emergency access and eliminate the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) hazard that currently exists. Project location: Building 1643, NAS JRB, Fort Worth, TX 76127. In accordance with FAR Provision 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238110 with applicable size standard is $15 million. Solicitation release: 15 April 2016. Estimated construction times is Sixty (60) days after date of contract. Contract type: Firm Fixed Price FUNDING STATUS: This acquisition is currently UNFUNDED. Closing date for Bids: 16 May 2016 at 12:00 PM Central Time SET ASIDE: This solicitation is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR Part. 19.5 -- under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238110 (238110 Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors) Classification Code Y1PZ, with a size standard of $15 MIL. SITE VISIT: A site visit pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be conducted on 26 April 2016 at 10:00 AM CST for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Participants will meet at-- 301st Operational Contracting Conference Room 1776 Carswell Ave NAS Fort Worth JRB, TX 76127-1054 Site Visit Point of Contact- If a gate pass is required, interested parties must submit names of attendees along with their company's name to: Yvette Todtenhoefer at: yvette.todtenhoefer@us.af.mil and Robert J. (Joe) Walz at: robert.walz.1@us.af.mil - by 22 April 2016. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit questions to the point of contact noted above not later than 22 April 2016. Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. (The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. EVALUATION: Award will be conducted and evaluated under the provisions of the attached solicitation. NAS JRB Forth Worth, TX. This will be the only US Government point of receipt for quotes for this requirement (this includes mail servers). It is the offeror's responsibility to get the proposal in on time and should allow sufficient time for the quote to clear any and all email servers. Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF files are the accepted forms of files to be submitted. Please limit file size to 3MB or less. Quotes submitted prior to close date are welcome.
