- THIS PROJECT IS OPEN ONLY TO THE KSARNG AND KSANG APPROVED MATOC CONTRACTORS. This project is for the 190th CE FY 16 Fencing Repairs. PRE-BID MEETING will be held on Tuesday, 19 Apr 16 at 10:00 a.m. CST, CE Bldg 760, Classroom Forbes Field, Topeka, KS. PROPOSALS will be due on Tuesday, 10 May 16 at 2:00 p.m., CST. Project Title and Project Description: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Submit a bid for each line item of work to be done. The purpose of this contract is to install, modify existing, or replace force protection measures around designated facilities in accordance with UFC 4-022-03. This contract will also repair sections of failing asphalt near the flight line side of building 662. Fence product used will be Type A, galvanized, 2 inch square mesh, woven 9 gauge steel wire fabric chain link fence 7 feet high, surmounted by three strands of barbed wire angled outward at 45 degrees for a total height of 8 feet. Chain-link fabric tautness requirements can be found in UFGS (32 3100.00 10 / 32 31 13.00 20 / 32 31 13.00 40). Provide chain link fencing components and accessories in accordance with ASTM standards F1043, F626, A817, A824, F1083 and F1664. All fencing and components will be commercial grade. Use non-reflective coating for fences to reduce glare that could affect remote camera and visual assessment.
