- N00164-16-S-NB67 - SOURCES SOUGHT - HARDWARE PRODUCTION, UPGRADES, TEST & EVALUATION, REPAIRS, AND SPARES TO SUPPORT THE EXISTING AN/SLQ-32 SYSTEM - PSC 5865 - NAICS 334511 Issue Date 15 APR 2016 - Closing Date 29 APR 2016 This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is being posted to satisfy the requirement under the Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement PGI 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWCCD) anticipates awarding a follow-on contract on a sole source basis to Northrup Grumman Systems (NGS) for continuation of hardware production, upgrades, test & evaluation, repairs, and spares to support the existing Electronic Surveillance Enhancement (ESE), (V)4 ESE, and 201A6 variants of the AN/SLQ-32(V) system. Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to issue a sole source contract to NGS located in Bethpage, NY. NGS is the ESE/(V)4 ESE developer, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and software developer integrating the processor with the AN/SLQ-32(V) system. NGS is the sole manufacturer of ESE processors for AN/SLQ-32(V) Surface Electronic Warfare Systems. NGS is the only capable contractor with the requisite knowledge and experience to adequately provide the hardware production, upgrades, test & evaluation, repairs, and spares necessary to support the AN/SLQ-32(V) system. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received no later than 2:00 PM (EDT) on 29 April 2016, shall be considered by NSWCCD. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. Responses must be submitted in writing to the contract specialist, Jason Travis, via email at jason.travis@navy.mil no later than the date and time noted above. Emailed responses should reference Sources Sought N00164-16-S-NB67 in the subject line. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
