- Requirement/Customer Introduction Document Type: Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information Posted Date: 15 April 2016 Response Date: 4 May 2016 NAICS Code: 333517 Small Business Size Standard: 500 This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes, and is not to be considered an invitation for bid, request for quotation, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No reimbursement will be a made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or any follow up information request. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the information they provide. No questions will be taken on the RFI. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received. The information will be used in a Market Research Report assessment of sources capable of providing an Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) in support of the U.S. Army Asymmetrical Warfare Group Training Center (AWGTC) located at Fort A.P. Hill, VA. Therefore, no late submissions will be considered in the development of the Market Research Report. This RFI is to determine if there are at least two capable small businesses able to meet the requirement. Please note that you must be providing an EDM manufactured by you or the product of a small business manufacturer or producer. The end product furnished must be manufactured or produced in the United States or its outlying areas. This must be clearly stated in your response.
