- Can I submit a quote directly to you, at this email address? Yes, you would send the quote directly to me via e-mail (james.justus2@va.gov). Make sure the quote includes the information needed to evaluate we are getting exactly what we need. Should I include delivery or will you arrange to have the unit picked up? We would prefer you include delivery in your quote. Delivery would be built into price and not a separate line item. If we are to include delivery in the quote, is the delivery location in Leavenworth, KS or Lancaster, TX? Delivery will be the Lancaster TX CMOP 2962 S. Longhorn Drive Lancaster, Texas, 75134. This unit was built/manufactured in China. Will that prevent you from purchasing it? We could accept your quote, but we would go with a TAA compliant manufacturer first. If none of the quotes came in for a product manufactured by a TAA compliant country, at a reasonable price, we could consider your quote. I do not have pictures of the unit I am bidding on because it will be purchased from another vendor after award, will stock photo's work? We require photo's to ensure we are getting what we need and for evaluation purposes. You should use caution with using photos of other items because the Government will expect the same product as the photo's you include. If you attempt to deliver a product not matching the quote (and documentation provided (i.e. photo)) it will not be accept and the vendor is responsible for any costs associated with its return. My product does not meet all of your requirements, can I submit a quote? Yes, you can still submit a quote but the Government intends to award to the vendor that meet all requirements. What's the exact location for delivery including the Zip Code? 75134 Do they have a way to lift the unit off our truck or does the container have to be delivered on a land-all/Roll-off type vehicle? The station does not have the ability to unload the container. A land-all/Roll-off type vehicle would be required.
