Description
Q 1: Will the daycare center be occupied when we are working in the area? Are the children going to be playing outside during the period we are expected to work in the designated area? A1: Yes the space will still be occupied as the contractor preforms work. Children will be playing in the adjacent grass play area. The contractor shall coordinate with the COR, contracting officer representative and the daycare center daily activates in order to prevent disruptions to the daycare center. Q2: What clearance and background check does the field staff require? A2: The contractor shall be required to obtain a PIV badge. Part of this process includes a background check and finger printing. Additional details will be given at a later date. Q3: What point of egress will be accessible during the period of work? A3: The daycare center is located at building 3. There will be two point of egress accessible to the contractor. Equipment can be brought to the area of work through the gate located on the east side of building 3. However, tools and equipment are not to be stored on site. The contractor shall be responsible for cleaning the area of work at the end of each work day. Parking lot 27 is designated for contractor storage. The second point of egress is located on the north side of the building. This is a point of egress for personal only. Q4: What are the separate square footages for each the Synthetic Grass and the Poured Rubberized Coating? The drawing shows what to be all synthetic grass. A4: As an approximation 75 ±5 percent of the area is to be synthetic grass the remaining portions are to be the poured rubberized coating. This translates to around 3304.7-3776.8 square feet of synthetic grass and 1416.3-944.2 square feet of a poured rubberized coat for a total of 4,721 square feet. There is no accurate drawing of this area of work thus this is just an approximation.
