Description

This is a notification that the Southern AZ VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), Tucson, AZ intends to award a sole-source, 3 months Firm-Fixed Price Contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Southern AZ VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) needs a short term contract in place to maintain three entities. The tool sets are listed as Symphony Slide Preparation Unit, BenchMark Ultra Slide Stainer and Nexes Slide Preparation Unit. The current maintenance agreement is supported by ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS CORP. This interim Contract is intended to insure support and maintenance until the new contract is awarded. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219, Other electronic and precision equipment repair and maintenance with a small business size standard of $20.5 million.
