- Description
- The questions below have been submitted and are provided with the answers below for all interested vendors. No further questions will be answered from this point to the closing of the RFQ. 1. Do the sluice boxes need to be painted? Is so what is the requirement for the finish paint? No painting is required. 2. The specifications are referencing older codes, i.e. S326-78, D1.1-88, etc. Can latest edition AISC and D1.1 codes be used? Yes, latest editions can be used. 3. Does the sluice box need to be assembled on site by the contractor? The individual tops, middles and bottoms have to be built offsite. They will be delivered to the Fort Mifflin Project Office by the Contractor and stored in our laydown yard. 4. Is the contractor responsible for offloading the sluice box from the truck upon delivery? Fort Mifflin Personnel will off load the sluices from the Contractors flat beds but they must provide enough time so we can be prepared for delivery.
