Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) Aerospace Systems (AS) for the repair of 53 EA-18G NSNs. The intention of this solicitation is to award a Requirements firm fixed price long-term contract (LTC) with a five-year base. See Attachment A for list of line items and corresponding Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs). The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with NGSC. NGSC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above repair parts. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than 15 days from the date of this synopsis to: NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Attn: Guy Petrucci, N762.26 700 Robbins Avenue Bldg. 1, Rm. 3600 Philadelphia, PA 19111-5098 NGSC will be solicited on or after 04 May 2016 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
