Description

Bldg. 700 4th Floor Renovation Project #612A4-12-212 The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a General Construction Contractor for project 612A4-12-212 Bldg. 700 4th Floor Renovation at the VA Northern California Health Care System located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, California. Work shall include the renovation of existing patient rooms into 25 step down units, including telemetry monitoring, nurse work stations, conference rooms, family day room, staff lounge, office and storage areas. The construction will require 3 phases in order to maintain the sleep study area (north portion of building) and 3 recovery units fully operational (southwest corner of building). This Invitation for Bids will be a total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers will only be accepted from qualified Small Businesses. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about May 10, 2016. The solicitation will contain proposal instructions. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Project Site Visit will be held at the Mather facility. Exact location, date, and time will be noted in the solicitation. This conference is highly recommended. Estimated project cost is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Questions regarding the solicitation must be sent in writing to parvinder.brar@va.gov.
