Description

NSN List for potential exclusive distributor AAR LTC The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation intends to pursue a long term contract (LTC) for the attached National Stock Numbers (NSNs) with the sole exclusive distributor, AAR CORP (CAGE 1Y249). DLA Aviation is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify any additional parties with the authority and ability to meet this requirement. If your organization possesses an authorized distributorship agreement with the approved source for any of the attached NSNs, please respond with any objections to these items being included as part of this requirement. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the authority and ability to meet this requirement, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, CAGE Code, address, E-mail address, telephone number, business size; and 2) The distributorship agreements between your organization and the OEM, which clearly defines the scope of the distributorship agreement (territory, items covered under the agreement, length of agreement, etc.). Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 3:00 p.m. 3 May 2016.
