- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to award a five year Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Cost type contract, consisting of one base year and four one-year options. The contract will provide Re-Utilization and Disposal Services to dispose of excess equipment and material, including, but not limited to non-consumables, consumables, furniture and other property used, consumed or expended in the course of NAWCWD performance. Tasking includes, but not limited to identifying, preparing, transporting of Government properties to a central processing site and disposal of Government properties that are either to be re-utilized or disposed of. Government properties vary vastly and can reside in rooms, hallways, closets, buildings, outside of buildings, fenced parking lots, dirt lots, and/or out in the open fields within the land ranges. All tasking's are to be performed on-site at NAWCWD China Lake and Point Mugu, Ca, on a full-time work schedule. It is anticipated that a three 2-man crews and a team lead will be required at the Point Mugu site, and five 2-man crews and a supervisor will be required for the China Lake site, for a total of 18 contractor personnel. Site visit: There will be two site visits, one at China Lake and one at Point Mugu so the Government can show prospective contractors the main areas. To be included in the site visit prospective contractors shall provide company name, individuals name(s), phone and cell numbers for each employee attending site visit. For Point Mugu perspective contractors will be escorted and transportation will be provided. For China Lake, contractors shall complete and submit to Sue Casey 5530/1 and 5512/1. All contractors wanting to attend the site visits, they must submit the required information no later than 10 days from the date this notice. Contractors do not have to attend the site visit to propose. This requirement will be competed on a restricted 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 25 May 2016. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Award is anticipated in September 2016 timeframe. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to the point(s) of contact listed below or mailed to the Contracting Office Address listed below no later than 15 days from this notice date.
