Description
HD TRANSMISSION CABLE MEMORABILIA R16PS00610- Hoover Dam Transmission Cable Memorabilia Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Amendment 001 Purpose: Extend response due date to 04/27/2016. Remove internal accounting code from description box. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a request for quote (RFQ No. R16PS00610) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-87. (iv) This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 332813 Tumbling (i.e., cleaning and polishing) metal andmetal products for the trade. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 332813 is 500 employees. (v) Line item 0010 - 1 Job, Cut and Polish Transmission Cable Memorabilia. The Statement of Work provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for a contractor to modify existing supply into memorabilia for the Hoover Dam (vii) Work shall begin on or about Saturday, April 30, 2016. All work shall be completed by Monday, October 30, 2016. Work shall be completed at the Bureau of Reclamation-LC-Hoover Dam Hoover Dam Central Warehouse State Route 172 Boulder City, NV 89005 The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this commercial item acquisition: (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (ix) Determination of award will be based on the lowest-priced responsive quote from a responsible offeror.
