- This is a notice of intent to increase the ceiling of Contract N66001-15-C-4061 to SRI International, awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), Information Innovation Office (I2O) on 17 August 2015 in support of DARPA I2Os program Vetting Commodity It Software and Firmware (VET). Upon exercise of Option 1, performance will end on 16 August 2017. Using the research performed under the base period, this additional Option 1 effort is for the production of a memory allocator that is suitable for formal validation for real-world use. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541712. Due to the nature of Research and Development efforts, DARPA I2O could not have a reasonably estimated the results of the research from this program, which has seen breakthroughs that will benefit from continued research under this current contract. This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $100,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes and will be posted for 5 days. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
