Description

Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peter VA Medical Center is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing project number 632-16-101 Upgrade Emergency Generators PH 1 GENERAL INFORMATION: This Project will upgrade emergency generators and associated equipment at the main hospital building (Building. No. 200) and the central boiler plant (Building. No. 203) at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. Technical disciplines include but are not limited to site development, architectural, fire protection, structural, plumbing, sanitary, HVAC, electrical, asbestos abatement, critical path method, and estimating. The Project will comply with VA-adopted codes and standards including VA Directives, Design Manuals, Master Construction Specifications, Design Criteria and other Guidance on the Technical Information Library (http://www.cfm.va.gov/til/). The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification//socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business), relative to NAICS Code 541310. Note: Set-Aside requirements, Services (except construction). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (SDVOSB, VOSB). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in www.sam.gov and www.experian.com. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email to Richard.Adu@va.gov ) and received not later than April 27, 2016 12:00 PM EST. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on FedBid (http://www.fedbid.com/) at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement through Fedbid Online Market Place. Sources sought was posted on January 06, 2016 and set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) but did not receive enough responses.
