Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(c) (7) for the purpose of determining if there are any qualified U.S. Small Business Concerns capable and interested in a possible future solicitation of a $250,000 - $500,000 construction project to: Install seven new 80' Series 6 S3A-Lda Self Supported communications towers at specified locations, in various regions of El Salvador. •· Select the best location within DGCP territory, height and orientation of the towers according to the instructions and diagrams provided •· Confirmed the proposed location for the tower foundation interface and guy anchors •· Confirm the local soil conditions are within the design parameters assumed for the foundation designs (DGCP has already the soil studies in case needed) •· Clear and grub the six sites sufficiently to enable the site to be prepared for the installation of the towers •· Excavate for the pier and anchor foundations. Ensure correct levels and compaction of the base of the excavation •· Prepare reinforcing steel cages for each foundation in accordance with design specifications. Install cages ready for concrete pour. Install STG foundation interface and guy anchors. Prepare grounding installation •· Supply and Install concrete in accordance with design specifications. Ensure the concrete meets required compaction and strength. Allow the concrete to cure •· Erect the towers using an experienced and skilled tower erection team •· Install the grounding kits and accessories provided •· Remove all equipment and surplus materials •· Handover to USG representative RESPONSES DUE: Responses to this RFI are due no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on April 25, 2016.
