- JA Memo Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, REGIONAL HEALTH CONTRACTING OFFICE - PACIFICJOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD HEALTH CONTRACTING (JBLM-HCC), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Wright Medical Technology Inc in the amount of $100,000.00 to purchase the products to be used at Madigan Army Medical, Tacoma, WA. The Surgeon has determined that this product will best meet the patients' specific medical needs/requirements. ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE FDA APPROVED and meet the surgeon's and the patient's specific medical needs/requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for quote and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Ms. Angela Dexter at angela.a.dexter.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
