Description
AMENDMENT 00001: This amendment changes this RFQ from a Small Business Set Aside to Full and Open Competition. This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SSC Pacific is seeking to provide a feasibility study to design a DC 18 GHz dual channel rotary joint supporting 500W to 75W on both channels simultaneously on behalf of the ISR Electromagnetic Systems Technology Branch, Code 52280. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001-16-T-0145. The NAICS code is 541330 and the size standard is $38.5 million dollars. NOTE: Offerors must provide a narrative to demonstrate capabilities addressing sections 3.1 and 3.2 of the Statement of Work (SOW). Offeror must also provide a Product Data Specification Sheet demonstrating that the vendors product meets SOW requirements: existing single channel rotary joint product that meets the governments requirements. Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order and it will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87 (3/07/2016) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), 26 Feb 2016. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses can be accessed in full text at www.farsite.hill.af.mil.
