Description

This is the combined synopsis/solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government requires on-going access to a global Automatic Identification System (AIS) for all real-time maritime vessel/ship movement information. The Government requires a subscription which would allow five users to login simultaneously on different computers in order to access and view the contractors AIS Network via a vendor website 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year (24/7/365). The subscription shall provide real-time maritime vessel/ship movement information for at least the following areas: Europe, North America, the Caribbean, Mediterranean and East Asia. Additionally, the Government also requires that the AIS subscription to provide the following vessel data: •Timeliness: location posted within one hour of the AIS report •Latitude/Longitude of position listed as degrees, minutes and seconds •Current Ship Names •Last port of call/ Next Port of Call •Historical tracking (at least 90 days) of data for each ship. This requirement was previously solicited under W912PX-16-Q-0005 but has since changed. For more information please review the attached Combined Synopsis Solicitation Notice.
