Description

THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BID - PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE. THE TENTATIVE ADVERTISEMENT DATE IS MAY 10, 2016. THIS PROJECT WILL BE ADVERTISED ON A FULL AND OPEN BASIS. Project Location This project is located in Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. The project begins at the intersection of Refuge Road and State Highway 289 and proceeds approximately 4.4 miles west into the Refuge. The project ends on USFWS land at the intersecton of Wildlife Road and Refuge Road. The project consists of pulverizing with cement treatment, widening, and repaving 3.7 miles of 20-22 foot existing asphalt surface. The new asphalt surface will be 24 feet wide and 3" inches in depth. Principle work items include: 2,400 CUYD of unclassified borrow 2,400 CUYD of embankment construction 3,800 TON of roadway aggregate 42,00 LNFT of shoulder and ditch reconditioning 39,000 SQYD of full depth reclamation, 6-inch depth 9,400 TON of asphalt concrete pavement 33 MILE of pavement markings Temporary traffic control The contracting range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million.
