Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Mid-Plains Telecom, LLC (doing business as TDS), 525 Junction Road, Madison, Wisconsin, 53717, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The period of performance is 12 months, plus two, 12-month option periods. The proposed contract is for Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) telecommunications services consisting of four Primary Rates Interface (PRI) circuits with resultant numbers and services and Federal Line charge for four PRI lines, line port fee for PRI lines and five plain old telephone service analog lines to Region 6 locations at the North Central Consolidated Patient Account Center (NCCPAC)/Station 732 in Middleton, Wisconsin. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 517110. The service delivery points (SDP) are as follows: NCCPAC/Station 732 8001 Terrace Avenue, Middleton, WI 53562 Account # 608-821-7000 This notification shall close on May 13, 2016.
