Description

Battle Creek VAMC Project #: 515-12-123 Project Title: Replace Elevator, Building 14 Statement of Work Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and all other necessary resources to perform the Work for project VA Contract No. 515-12-123 Replace Elevator Building 14 as required by specifications prepared by the VA. This project will replace the existing electric traction elevator at Building 14. Work shall include: "Remove and replace existing machine, controller, hoist cables, governor, tail sheave, governor cable, deflector sheave, hoistway doors and door equipment, push buttons, hall lanterns, car operating panels, cab platform and cab. "Install shunt trip breaker. "Retain existing machine beams, main and counterweight rails, buffers, counterweights, entrance frames, sills, hanger supports, strut angles, fascia plates and sling. "Various items as described in the technical specifications for complete installation of the items listed above. The IT Security requirements for Certification & Accreditation requirements do not apply and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. The Contractor will be required to complete privacy training prior to beginning any work. The contractor will receive a total of 210 days to complete the work, as required by the Specifications.
