Description

The solicitation and scope of this acquisition is for the procurement of Diesel Engine Parts Kits (also called Fuel/Circulating Pump Repair Kit) used to perform maintenance on the engine for the generator, under national stock number (NSN) 2540-01-560-2062. This solicitation is for a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a three year base and two "one-year" option periods. Prices will be fixed and adjusted annually by a fixed percentage. This IQC solicitation will provide repair and replacement parts for military customers both in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The support of this item will be through DLA Direct requirements. All DLA inventory points will be authorized to use the resulting contract. Due to there being a complete data package, this acquisition will be issued using full and open competition. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on price, delivery, and past performance. Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ): 184; Required delivery: 120 days; AMC: 1; AMSC: G; PIC: 2, QCC: CAA.
