- SUBJECT: Z- Intracoastal Waterway, Jacksonville to Miami, Florida, Maintenance Dredging, 12-Foot Project, Vicinity of St. Augustine Inlet and Vicinity of Matanzas Inlet, St, Johns County, Florida SOLICITATION NUMBER: W912EP-16-B-0006 RESPONSE DATE: 29 Jun 2016 CONTRACT SPECIALIST NAME AND PHONE NUMBER: Contract Specialist, James E. Randall (904) 232-1792 The scope of work for this project consists of maintenance dredging shoal material from the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW). The northern area consists of IWW cuts SJ-28, SJ-28A, SJ-29, SJ-29A, SJ-30, SJ-30A, and flood shoal advanced maintenance. Excavated material from this area will be pumped to a 5,000-foot long beach placement area located in Anastasia State Park south of St. Augustine Inlet between FDEP monuments R-127 and R-132. The southern area consists of IWW cuts SJ-60 and SJ-61 and settling basin located in the vicinity of Matanzas Inlet. Excavated material from this area will be pumped to a 3,000-foot long beach placement area located at Summer Haven south of Matanzas Inlet between FDEP monuments R-205 and R-208. Incidental work includes beach tilling, endangered species and turbidity monitoring, and vibration monitoring and control. The Magnitude of Construction is between $5 Million and $10 Million. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS ACQUISITION. The Performance period will be 208 calendar days after receipt of NTP. Including 30 calendar days to commence work. The solicitation will be issued on or about 26 May 2016 with bids due on or about 28 Jun 2016. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the FBO website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible for providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. You must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), per FAR Clause: (52.204-99 - SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT REGISTRATION (DEVIATION 2012-0015) (AUGUST 2012), in order to receive an award from this solicitation. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS - This will be and IFB award for lowest price technically acceptable. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Merit, Past Performance, and Price.
