THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE QUOTES. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No award made on the basis of quotes or offer received in response to this notice. The Lebanon VAMC intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract is for a Verathon Bladder Scanner. The Bladder Scan BVI 9400 bladder volume instrument, with Neural Harmonics technology, is a portable 3D ultrasound device that quickly, accurately, and noninvasively measures urinary bladder volume and post void residual (PVR) in adults. This procurement will require sole source or name brand status, as the only equipment that has all options needed in one hand held portable model. Not available from any other supplier. The intent of the notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any cost connected with provided capability information will be provided. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334510 Size Standard: 1,250, and the Classification code is 6515. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
