- Synopsis: The Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC) is using this Sources Sought synopsis as means of conducting Market Research pursuant to FAR Part 10. There is no solicitation at this time. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this sources sought notice. Any responses received will not be used as a proposal. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The intended award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Classification Code is 611699 All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction Requirement: Wind Tunnel Training. The Marine Special Operations School (MSOS) has a requirement to procure wind tunnel training that shall consist of four (4) hours, focused on active MFF systems checks, stability, and emergency procedures. The training will provide fourteen (14) minutes of sustainment and proficiency training for sixteen (16) personnel for a total training block of four (4) hours. Please submit any suggestions, questions, comments, and/or information, including literature/brochures describing your firm's ability/interest to provide these supplies. In addition, interested vendors shall provide the following information: (1) Is your company considered a large or small business under this NAICS code? (2) If the size standard is small, indicate: if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, if your firm is a certified HUBZone firm, if your firm is women-owned, and/or if your firm is Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned. (3) Are the services available under a GSA/FSS contract? If so, please provide contract number. (4) Have these supplies been acquired by any government agencies in the past? If so, please provide names of agencies, POCs and contract numbers.
