Description

J&A Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS Code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5M. Defense Microelectronic Activity (DMEA) anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. DMEA intends to issue a fixed-price, limited source contract to provide hardware maintenance, software updates and calibration for two (2) LabPro 1000 GPS Simulators. This acquisition is being pursued on a limited source basis in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.106-1(b). Vendors who quote must be an authorized distributor and authorized to repair, update software and calibrate LabPro 1000 GPS Simulators. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement and quote which will be considered by the agency. All submissions must be received prior to 12 May 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capabilities statements and/or quotes are due to the DMEA contracting office no later than (NLT) 3:00pm (PST) on 17 May 2016 and should be electronically sent by email to Robynn Hagan at robynn.hagan@dmea.osd.mil.
