- Description
- The Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) at American Consulate General, Frankfurt, Germany, on behalf of the U.S. Department of State (DOS), intends to issue a Solicitation for offers, for award of a firm-fixed-price type contract under full and open competition procedures for: An Electrical System Survey of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan This solicitation will be for the performance of an Electrical System Survey to find the cause for high grounding current readings, within the Kabul 380V electrical distribution systems. The following is a brief description of the services required: • A two-person team shall conduct testing and checking of the five building electrical distribution systems. • Ground Current and voltage measurements shall be taken at pre-determined locations in each building. • Gather ground fault settings in each building, if installed, for ground fault coordination study. • At the end of the site investigation, a draft report shall be provided for review with preliminary finding and recommendations. • The contractor will purchase predetermined measuring equipment which will become the property of the U.S. Government It is anticipated that the solicitation document will be posted on FedBizOpps by May 13. The solicitation package/documents will only be available in the English language. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America and is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures. NOTE: Registration in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) is a mandatory requirement in order to be considered for award.
