- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking Interested Vendors with successful past performance, current relevant experience, personnel/resources, equipment, and capability to replace waste piping and grease interceptor at the Yeaton Hall Officers Club. The scope of work under this project includes, but is not limited to: Remove existing grease interceptor, and piping associated with sanitary drainage system. Furnish and install new automatic grease interceptor sized to handle current kitchen usage. Install grease interceptor in the Mechanical Room for easy access. Furnish and install 316 stainless steel push fit sanitary drainage system with heat trace. Isolate dishwasher hot water drain line from the grease interceptor drainage system and connect to existing sewer line. Enlarge the existing crawl space tunnel west access through the existing areaway necessary for new installations and proper maintenance. Contractor is required to comply with the following on site construction schedule necessary to support Officer Club kitchen operations. PHASE 1 (Kitchen Operational) Onsite construction date 05SEP2016 to 28OCT2016 key construction -Enlarge access opening to pipe tunnel west. Install automated grease interceptor. Install new sanitary drainage from tunnel west entry to grease interceptor intake. Remove exhaust fan, relocate air compressor and install all electrical. PHASE 2 (Kitchen Shutdown) Onsite construction date 09JAN2017 to 24FEB2017 key construction - Remove piping and grease trap from tunnel south. Install new sanitary drainage from tunnel west entry to tunnel south, connect to existing fixtures and vents. Install discharge from new grease interceptor to existing sanitary drainage. Your response should include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a proposal for this solicitation as prime contractor; (b) a statement identifying your certified small business designation (if any); and, (c) evidence of prior successful sanitary piping work similar to the scope described herein to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. Your response is required no later than 10 MAY 2016. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on an applicable set-aside.
