- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, Ft. Carson Health Contracting Cell, is issuing this sources sought synopsis on behalf of the Department of Physical Therapy at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso, TX as a means of conducting market research to identify parties that have an interest in providing Automated Pneumatic Tourniquet System: Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Tourniquet Instrument and Cuff Set. See Salient Characteristics below; Salient Characteristics: Automated Pneumatic Tourniquet Instrument and Cuffs Height: Min 7.0 inches - Max 7 ¼ inches Width: Min 4 ½ inches - Max 4.7 inches Depth: Min 4.3 inches - Max 4 ½ inches Weight: Approximately 2.6 pound and with accessories 15 pounds Cuff Pressure Range: 50 - 350 mmHg, adjustable in 1 mmHg increments, automatically regulated to within +/- 10 mmHg of the selected pressure BFR Pressure Application Timer: 1-30 minutes, adjustable in 1 minute increments Reperfusion Timer for BFR: 1-10 minutes, adjustable in 1 minute increments Inflation Speed: inflates a typical thigh cuff within 5 seconds Integrated Tourniquet Cuff Testing: 30 seconds CUFFs: PTS for BFR instrument with three compatible PTS Easi-Fit Cuffs for BFR 18″,24″ and 34″ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The result of this this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
