Description

Scope of Work The selected contractor will assist the Commission in updating the Postal Regulatory Commission's SSPs and cybersecurity policies and procedures. These are critical documents, required by the Federal Information Security Management Act, that guide and document the security for the Commission's IT infrastructure. Current SSPs were last updated in 2008, and do not reflect the current state of the Commission's infrastructure. Contractor's performance evaluation criteria will at a minimum include: completion on schedule, within cost parameters, and the meeting of quality criteria as outlined in the contract. Each task in the scope will provide practical solutions to management and meet the technical requirements of the Commission. The Commission's Secretary/CAO or his designee will set the overall direction for the work under this contract. This solicitation does not commit the Commission to any reimbursements of costs or expenses, which may be incurred by the respondents in preparing for this solicitation or any costs or expenses incurred by the respondent prior to the execution of a contracted agreement. The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this solicitation, to negotiate separately with competing respondents, and to accept that proposal which, in its judgment, is in the best interests of the Commission. Deliverables Complete and deliver all necessary updated Systems Security Plans (SSPs) and cybersecurity policies and procedures for the Commission. Place of Performance PRC systems are located at the Postal Regulatory Commission offices at 901 New York Avenue NW, Suite 200W, Washington DC, 20268.
