Description

The following questions/requests for clarification were posed by a potential contractor seeking to bid on the solicitation. I have included the responses to the inquiries with the questions. I have a few questions regarding subject line topic - REFERENCE: The current contract for courier services. QUESTION: Is there an incumbent currently providing courier services? If so, what is the name of the company providing the courier services? -There is an incumbent for this service. The contract is public record and can be researched on FPDS.gov or FBO.gov. REFERENCE: Response date on FBO Solicitation shows 20 April, 2016; Page 1 of the Attachment states Original & Current Response Dates are 5/17/2016; and Page 2 of the Attachment says 13 May is the response date. QUESTION: What is the correct response date? -The correct Response date should be 5/17/2016. REFERENCE: Page 3 of the Solicitation; III Transportation & Containers: (b.) it mentions the Specimen containers will be provided by the Contractor. Paragraph (f.) it states the VAMC will provide shipping containers. QUESTION: Who will provide the containers? -The contractor will provide the specimen containers. The VA will provide any other shipping containers, tapes and labels. I thank you in advance for any assistance you may provide. Please provide confirmation of receipt of this message via email.
