- Vicinity Map Description of Work: Van Buren Creek AOP Culvert Replacement NFSR 2002 MP 5.98 The project consists of the removal of an existing culvert and replacing it with a new 19'-0" span by 6'-4" rise steel structural plate arch culvert. Improvements consist of but are not limited to: clearing and shaping the roadway to the project site for contractor access, structure excavation, excavation and reshaping of the channel, installation of precast footings, placement of riprap, foundation fill, installation of a structural steel plate arch culvert, structural backfill, excavation and embankment of the roadway approaches, and gravel surfacing. Project Location: The project is located on the Salmon River Ranger District of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, approximately 33 miles northeast of Riggins in Idaho County, Idaho (Section 33, Township 26 north, Range 3 east). A vicinity map has been uploaded to FBO as an attachment to this notice. Price Range: The Government's estimate for the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance Deadlines: Work on the project site shall commence no earlier than July 1, 2016 and be completed no later than September 15, 2016. All in-stream work must take place between July 15 and August 30, 2016. Solicitation shall be issued in mid-May with contract award anticipated approximately June 20th. Original bid bonds are required. The project has been set-aside for small businesses.
